Maximization of Cross-linking Efficiency

e.p.t.q.® implements 2CM(Two Crosslinking Method) technology which uses both A)physical and B)chemical crosslinking to minimize BDDE input and achieve maximum crosslinking efficiency for safe and viscoelastic gel.

Minimized BDDE Input

MoD(Modification Degree) is a filler safety verification element. MoD is a modification degree of hyaluronic acid molecule by bound BDDE (fully crosslinked BDDE and pendant BDDE). MoD of e.p.t.q.® is about 83% lower than that of other monophasic fillers, assuring its safety.

ZEEP (Zero Endotoxin & BDDE Entire Process)

e.p.t.q.® keeps endotoxin below 0.1 EU/mL and no detection of residual BDDE minimizing various side effects that may occur after the procedure.

Safety Assessment

No major abnormalities were reported, and slight abnormal responses from medical devices, such as slight swelling and pain for 2-3 days, were all recovered without any special treatment.
